Tree of Knowledge (yes as featured on Dragons’ Den) has just put their latest Peapodo on sale. I wonder who the designer behind that masterpiece was?
For those of you who don’t know Tree of Knowledge provide a unique and innovative range of services and tools to help children, young people and adults share knowledge with the goal of becoming more enterprising in both education and personal development. 4c has been with them from the beginning, working on the original Peapodo and the Apodo that had Peter Jones of Dragons’ Den jumping through hoops for them (literally).
“I’ve been involved trying to make a difference in education.
You’re probably the best that I’ve seen.”
Peter Jones, Dragons’ Den
My involvement with this project came through 4c Design who have a long standing relationship with TOK, they originally designed the Apodo and Peapodo Mk1. The market and demands shifted and as a result TOK came to 4c with the brief of designing a neoprene Peapodo that could be mass manufactured. The results are shown in the above/below images. As always it was great fun working with TOK and any product involving children is a guaranteed good laugh. Find out the full blurb from the website.
